My girl Tawny is great in so many ways, but she has no social skills around other dogs, and in fact is still very fearful around them, especially when she is restrained. I wanted to see if we could improve that part of her personality. Becca Riker, owner of The Mutt Hutt, was willing to help me with that by introducing her to the pack at her daycare. I have 100% confidence in Becca and her staff, so I knew Tawny was in good hands.
It was a great day! Here's a pictorial of what happened.

The process begins. Does Tawny look a little nervous? She was. I however, was not.

Tawny was slowly introduced to a few dogs, while the staff watched for any signs of aggression. There were none. One dog's early approach shows Tawny very uncertain.

Sitting is a good sign, especially near a calm dog.

A tentative sniff shows progress.

Out in the back yard,
she's in her element.

Now there's a friendly sniff!

Another tentative approach, with tail wag.

A much more relaxed and happy Tawny with me and
Mutt Hutt owner Becca Riker. What a great first step!
We will be
returning many times to continue her socialization.
